We prioritize your data security. All data is encrypted locally on your device before any storage or synchronization occurs. Our encryption methods adhere to industry standards to safeguard your information.

d. No Local Password Recovery or Data Restoration:
Due to the rigorous encryption applied locally, eDiary does not offer services for local password recovery or data restoration. It is crucial that you keep your passwords secure.

e. Cloud Encryption Options: Strong and Standard Encryption:
To further protect your privacy, you can choose between two encryption modes for your cloud data: Strong Encryption and Standard Encryption. With Strong Encryption, your data is encrypted using your unique cloud service password as a seed, making it inaccessible to anyone, including us. Consequently, we cannot provide a password recovery service for this mode.

f. AI Writing Assistant:
Enhance your writing experience with our AI Writing Assistant, designed to offer suggestions and inspiration as you craft your journal entries.

2. Pricing and Promotions

a. Free Use and Membership Options:
eDiary is available for free local use, and we provide free software updates for all users. We are committed to continuously improving your experience at no additional cost. If you wish to use additional services such as cloud services and AI writing assistants, please consider purchasing a membership.

b. Promotions:
Occasionally, we may run promotions or offer discounts. Details of such promotions will be communicated through our official channels.

3. Refund Policy

Once a service is purchased, it is non-refundable. Please ensure you understand the features and benefits before subscribing to any paid services.

4. Content Policy

eDiary does not support or host any adult content. By using our services, you agree to abide by this policy and refrain from uploading, sharing, or storing inappropriate material.

5. User Responsibilities

a. Maintain the security of your passwords and encryption keys.
b. Understand that we cannot assist with password recovery for Strong Encryption mode.
c. Comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using eDiary.

We respect your privacy and assure you that your data is not used for any purpose other than providing the services outlined in these terms. Our servers only store encrypted versions of your data, and we do not access or process this data in any way.
